The Heritage Museum and Gallery was built in 1902 as a Carnegie Public Library. Today it is home to the Heritage Museum. Leadville's history is shown through the many displays. It now displays a variety of Leadville artifacts, mining equipment and special displays on significant Leadville area events.
There are displays on mining equipment, the history of Camp Hale, dioramas of historic Leadville events and a scale model of the Ice Palace. The Musuem also has a gift shop and art gallery. Open summers, check for times.
